I built the desktop app that detects and redacts personal data (or PII) locally without sending any text to server. It supports rule-based filtering and AI model-based redaction (eg openai privacy filter). It's open source and free. A lot of teams are trying to figure out how to use AI collaboratively and as a team. I built Draft to help teams with this problem. It focuses on automatically pulling/pushing context edits to a shared (private) git repo by having Claude Code analyze your agent sessions, Slack threads, and Granola notes/transcripts. It's human in the loop so you can verify what is being added to context. That context can then be injected into your agents starting with Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, and Hermes. It

In this tutorial, we use NVIDIA SkillSpector to evaluate AI skills for security risks before deployment. We build a corpus of benign and deliberately vulnerable skills, then scan them through SkillSpector's programmatic LangGraph workflow. We organize the risk scores and findings with pandas, then visualize severity and category distributions. We export results in SARIF format, register a custom analyzer, and optionally apply an LLM-based semantic pass. The post NVIDIA SkillSpector Guide: Scanni

These models are basically a compression of everything we already made. Our books, our code, every stack overflow answer, the dumb forum arguments we had at 2am. The companies creating these models didn't create that knowledge, they scraped it and compressed it, and what comes back out is mostly our own collective output re-encoded and handed back to us. The work is expensive and valuable, so I don't mean to diminish that, but exclusivity on this seems completely unfair. These organizations alre

Hey HN, I wanted to share an open source plugin + skills I put together that turn Claude Code into a job search assistant. The goal is to minimize the amount of time needed to find interesting and relevant jobs. How it works: 1. Clone the repo, install the plugin, and run `/job-search` 2. Claude will ask a few questions to understand the roles you’re interested in and save your preferences locally. 3. Claude will then pull live job postings (currently, LinkedIn Jobs), compare posts against your

Hi HNers, I'd like to share our DOCX plugin for Cowork and Codex. It uses 2-5x fewer tokens compared to the traditional docx skill because it doesn't write any code nor execute python/node script. It is also much more reliable. Our DOCX plugin converts docx html bidirectionally. This means AI only operates on HTML. AI is excellent and very efficient when it comes to HTML. Most libraries (if not all) support docx->html, but none supports html->docx. This is what is novel about our approach. Here'

This post introduces three architectural patterns designed to integrate Model Context Protocol (MCP) Apps and Agent-to-User Interface (A2UI) to solve the tradeoff between highly custom iframe environments and native, declarative rendering. By combining these approaches, developers can serve native-feeling UIs directly over MCP servers, embed complex and stateful iframe apps securely inside declarative views, or inject generative UI components into legacy systems. Ultimately, these hybrid framewo
We analyzed spending patterns across the 250 million customers paying with Link. We found that Link customers are spending more on AI than they were three months prior, investing heavily in platforms that let them build with AI.

Do not make things up."</p> </blockquote> <p>And you've watched the model cheerfully ignore it under pressure. A confident-sounding question comes in, retrieval returns something <em>adjacent</em>, and the model stitches together an answer that's p

CEO Tim Cook said in a recent interview that the situation is "unsustainable."
<p>Most software engineers I know use AI in some form now.</p> <p>Maybe it is for debugging, boilerplate, tests, docs, SQL queries, shell commands, or quick code reviews. Some use it daily. Some use it quietly. <em>Even the skeptical ones have probably pasted a confusing stack trace into a chat window once.</em></p> <p>So I do not think the interesting question is:</p> <p><strong><em>“Do engineers use AI?”</em></strong></p> <p>The better question is:</p> <p><strong><em>“Has AI changed how they e

Hi HN, I'm Kaushik, and I built Rocketgraph. I believe that while other spaces have caught up to the AI wave, the observability space is still lagging behind, using the same tools and dashboards that we use to analyse logs from human-written code. But now the code is written and debugged by AI, so we need to rethink how we do observability where the observer itself is an AI. The problem that I run into is when an alert fires, I have to manually check the Grafana dashboards and write LogQL querie
