It's 11:00 pm. Do you know where your AI agent is?
AI agents that email people and post on other people's websites are cursed and we shouldn't make them.

I built an open-source soccer arcade game clone with Modelence in 128 prompts, inspired by the 2026 World Cup and EA FC (aka FIFA). As far as I searched, there was nothing else you could play in browser, so I decided to give it a go, even though Modelence is primarily made for SaaS and not games. This is as far as I could get. Recorded the progress, so you can see it going from just two circles to an actual 11 vs 11 players with "proper" dynamics: https://youtu.be/RO1I3ML8iPk Link to the live ga
Smart glasses like the Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta Vanguards need to pack enough energy to power features like cameras, speakers, AI workloads, and even a display. But it all has to fit into the glasses’ temple arms. So how do you place a battery with enough power to run a pair of smart glasses [...] Read More... Last week, Midjourney, an AI startup best known for its image generator, made an unusual pivot: medical imaging. The company announced a futuristic ultrasound scanner that would dunk users into a vat of water and, hopefully, produce "something as powerful as MRI" yet "as casual as a trip to the spa." Midjourney says the goal […]

Made a simple, free/open-source helper app to forward ports from remote hosts to localhost/etc. Just simple SSH under the hood, but a lot easier to deal with multiple ports & repeated connections (just toggle a switch in your menu bar). I've been doing a lot more dev on remote servers (or on my home server over Tailscale from my laptop) since it's a lot easier leaving agents running for longer tasks or being able to swap to my phone. This just makes it easier to access those ports at localhost a
In this post, you will learn patterns for implementing production-ready multi-tenant systems using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore. You will see these patterns demonstrated through healthcare AI agents that serve multiple clinics and hospitals.

Security firm AIR built a fake AI agent skill, pushed it through a popular skill marketplace and an Instagram ad, and says it reached roughly 26,000 agents, including some on corporate accounts. Every skill security scanner the firm tested it against marked it safe. The payload was harmless by design: it collected the user's email address and did nothing else. The point was to show

President Trump signed an executive order on June 22 setting hard deadlines for federal agencies to move high-value assets and high-impact systems to post-quantum cryptography. Key establishment must move by December 31, 2030; digital signatures by December 31, 2031. EO 14409 leaves national security systems on a separate track. The deadlines matter because of a threat that does not

Google Health Coach seems to think I'm on the verge of physical collapse. My sleep is not where it needs to be, hence my unimpressive readiness score. My heart rate variability, a measure of how recovered I am, is below baseline. I'm spending too much time in a hot, humid environment, it says, reminding me […]

While working on an educational exercise tinkering with local models and trying my hand at setting up agents, I went down a rabbit hole: to see how far I could build a custom agent loop using exclusively command-line building blocks and stripping out dependencies wherever possible. It turns out you can get pretty far with pipes, text streams, append only logs, and standard command-line components - concepts pretty well aligned with classic Unix philosophy. The agent is a wrapper composed of a ha

The new AI executive order disclaims a licensing mandate. Federal procurement can impose one anyway.
I constantly hear developers around me talk about how AI has completely changed their life and how they don't even program anymore, they just prompt. But any time I've used it, the output has always been off. And when the output is off I have to go and read through everything, learn how it works and fix it, which at that point I might as well write it myself. I just don't understand what other people are seeing, I've mainly used Claude and ChatGPT, I got a free trial for premium but it's just un
