VS Code and JetBrains have official Claude Code IDE integration, but Visual Studio doesn't. There's an open GitHub issue with a lot of +1s so I built it myself (check out the gif in the GitHub repo for a visual example). It implements the same protocol the official plugins use, so the Claude CLI connects to it automatically. You don't configure anything, just install the extension and click Launch. The main thing it adds over running Claude in a terminal is that edits open in Visual Studio's nat

We released what I've been working in the last few months: an Openclaw plugin that ecords every session, tool invocation, and prompt exchange into a local SQLite database with SHA-256 hash chain integrity, so you can verify that no events were altered or deleted after the fact. Hi Hacker News. We all know about the coming and going of Claude Fable. On X/Twitter, I have been seeing a lot of discourse about the great new capabilities it has, specifically for UI and design and game development. However, I suspect a lot of this is really just because we have never tried to attempt this with Claude Opus 4.8. For example, the Three.js scenes I keep on seeing: I feel like they could have been attempted with Opus 4.8 with just a bit more effort and prompting? For example, whil

The Trump administration's decision that forced Anthropic to pull its latest cybersecurity models could be reactionary, retaliatory, or both, but the message is clear: The AI industry isn't immune from U.S. government interference.
<p>Here's a thing that catches almost everyone the first week they run a model locally. You paste a 600-line file into your shiny new local assistant, ask it to find the bug, and it confidently rewrites a function that isn't even in the part it read. No error. No warning. It just... silently dropped most of your file on the floor before the model ever saw it.</p> <p>That's not the model being dumb. That's Ollama doing exactly what it was told. By default it gives every model a context window of
<p>AWS recently introduced <a href="https://www.usage.ai/blogs/aws/database-savings-plans/" rel="noopener noreferrer">Database Savings Plans</a>, bringing a more flexible commitment model to managed database services. If you're running Amazon Timestream, especially for IoT, telemetry, observability, or time-series workloads, you might be wondering whether <a href="https://www.usage.ai/blogs/aws/database-savings-plans/" rel="noopener noreferrer">Database Savings Plans</a> can reduce your costs.</
<p>Meet <strong>Perri Comic Generator</strong>, a lightweight, single-panel comic creator that merges LLM-driven storytelling with real-time diffusion models. By pairing an Gradio frontend with a high-performance backend, Perri orchestrates a seamless pipeline: it takes a simple story seed, structures it into a panel description, generates the art, and burns the dialogue right onto the final image.</p> <p>The best part? It achieves all of this without massive, resource-heavy infrastructure. Ever

<p>Sub-agents are the pattern everyone is talking about and almost nobody ships past a demo. The idea is simple: instead of asking one model one question and trusting one answer, you stand up several specialized agents, each with its own job, and make them work the problem together.</p> <p>The hard part is making that more than theater. Eleven agents that all secretly agree are just one agent with a higher bill.</p> <p>So I built a working test of the idea and pushed on it until it earned its ke
