In this technical collaboration between AWS and the authors, we present a pragmatic solution: agentic overlays. Agentic overlays are thin wrapper layers that transform traditional REST-based services into agents capable of participating in A2A interactions. They also expose REST APIs as tools compatible with the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Together, they let enterprises add A2A capabilities to existing REST services without rewriting business logic, without duplicating code, and without runnin

I just came across this funny behavior, and I have no idea what's causing it. The first paragraph is in English, but everything below it is written in Korean. What's interesting is that if you submit a question to the AI, it will open a new window, and in that window, the text is fully written in English. I was able to reproduce this on multiple browsers and devices; I have never installed or used the Korean language settings. Anybody know why it might be behaving this way? Comments URL: https:/

Earlier this month, a German court ruled that Google is liable for its AI search summaries. Rejecting defenses like “users can check for themselves,” and that they generally know “that information generated with AI should not be blindly trusted,” the court held that the AI’s summaries are reflections of the company and “above all an expression of Google’s business activities.” This is the latest skirmish in a decades-old battle over internet publishing. Historically, there were two different typ
OpenAI has made a significant update to its most widely used language model, GPT-5.5 Instant, which is the default in the free version of ChatGPT. The company announced the upgraded version of GPT-5.5 Instant yesterday on X, calling it "much more fun to talk to" and saying it is "better at understanding the intent behind a question and adapting its response accordingly," as well as offering improvements in shopping results, local recommendations, and handling "complex constraints." However, it h

This post shows you how to configure training jobs on Amazon SageMaker AI to get the most out of Blackwell’s architecture on AWS. You learn how to select batch sizes and sequence lengths that take advantage of Blackwell’s expanded memory, choose the right precision format for your model size (1B to 64B parameters), and apply activation checkpointing strategically. By the end, you have a practical framework for tuning your training configuration and launching distributed training jobs on P6-B200
In this post, we demonstrate how to implement video upscaling using SeedVR2 on SageMaker AI. We cover the solution architecture, walk through the deployment steps, and show performance comparisons that highlight the quality improvements and processing efficiency you can achieve. By the end of this post, you’ll have the practical knowledge needed to implement this super resolution solution.

A Washington Post investigation shows that most major AI chatbots still skew left on political questions. OpenAI's GPT-5.5 gave exclusively left-leaning arguments 80 percent of the time, and even Musk's Grok, marketed as anti-"woke," leaned left more often than not. The one outlier: Google's Gemini 3.1 Pro presented both sides 93 percent of the time.
