Show HN: Share and explore custom Claude Code status lines

Hey HN, I made a registry for claude code users to share and explore status lines. I found that my friends/coworkers and I would always share screenshots of our terminal to show off our custom claude lines so I decided to build this registry as a place for others to show off! Ask HN: Claude Opus Nerfed Again?

This is anecdotal experience from the last week, but I'm sure Opus is being nerfed. It has become thick as pigshit, it simply doesn't follow instruction anymore. Comments URL: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=48874910 Points: 2 # Comments: 0

Show HN: A Trust Index for MCP Servers

As a security professional whose employer has given Claude and various other AI tooling to everyone at the company, I kept finding myself as the bottleneck because my team had to review sometimes 4-5 repositories of MCP servers a day just to give a verdict whether it's safe to use in an enterprise environment. So to make my life easier, I built an easy to read index that pulls all the MCP servers from the Official MCP Registry ( https://registry.modelcontextprotocol.io/ ) periodically and scores

Ask HN: Has single-task focus become outdated in the AI era?

I’ve always found that deep focusing on one task at a time was the only way to get things done at work with good quality and at an acceptable pace, and I have a real hard time multitasking (even with AI) because of context switching and getting distracted or overwhelmed. But with AI making parallel work easier (in theory), is single-task focus now a disadvantage? Are effective engineers always running several threads at once, or is deep focus still the best way to get things done? Comments URL:

Coder – Delegate the coding to coder tasks powered by codex/Claude engines

Been really loving this flow of having Claude Code spin up Codex agents for individual tasks. It keeps the context super clean while spreading the workload across both Claude and Codex subscriptions. So created this common CLI and the relevant skills, so Claude Code, Codex/ChatGPT (hosts) can delegate tasks to models (engines) powered by the claude cli or codex cli or both! Check it out and let me know what you think: https://github.com/muzam1l/coder Comments URL: https://news.ycombinator.com/it

OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Sol Ultra reportedly solves a 50-year-old math problem in under an hour

OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Sol Ultra produced a proof of the Cycle Double Cover Conjecture in under an hour, using 64 subagents working in parallel. The conjecture had remained unsolved for 50 years. Mathematician Thomas Bloom calls the proof surprisingly elementary but criticizes the lack of citations for known prior work. The bigger question remains: Does AI just recombine existing knowledge, or does it create something new? The article OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Sol Ultra reportedly solves a 50-year-old math pro

Google Antigravity vs OpenAI Codex - Which AI coding agent is better?

<p><a href="https://antigravity.google/" rel="noopener noreferrer">Google Antigravity</a> and <a href="https://openai.com/codex/" rel="noopener noreferrer">OpenAI Codex</a> are the two most capable AI coding agents in wide use in 2026, and they answer the same question in opposite ways: where should an autonomous coding agent live and do its work. Antigravity rebuilds the IDE around agents and keeps the developer in the loop visually. Codex moves the agent into a cloud sandbox and returns a fini

27 Firms Just Backed the World's First Internet Court for AI Agents

<p>GenLayer launched an Internet Court specifically designed for AI agents, backed by 27 firms. The pitch: when autonomous agents transact, negotiate, or execute contracts, they need a dispute-resolution layer that isn't "ask a human to read the logs."</p> <p>The court is an on-chain mechanism where agent-to-agent disputes get adjudicated automatically — no lawyers, no tickets, no escalation to a human slacking another human. It's a sign that the ecosystem is moving past the "can my agent write

cordless v0.6: Going CLI-First — Run It, Scan the QR, You're Paired

<blockquote> <p><strong>TL;DR</strong> — <a href="https://naveenneog.github.io/cordless/" rel="noopener noreferrer">cordless</a> manages your remote terminal / coding-agent (Claude Code, Codex) sessions and puts them on your phone. <strong>v0.6</strong> makes it <strong>CLI-first</strong>: run <code>cordless</code> and it opens a full-screen terminal <strong>dashboard</strong> whose starting screen shows a <strong>live pairing QR</strong> — scan it, done. Terrorist groups are using every major AI chatbot for attack planning and weapons development

A Cambridge study found that Boko Haram uses AI chatbots like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to plan attacks, build explosives, and maintain weapons. ISIS operatives have been training the group's commanders on how to bypass safety filters since 2023. Given that the study found safety filters repeatedly failed to prevent misuse, voluntary self-regulation by AI providers clearly isn't enough. Show HN: Standalone SearXNG CLI+MCP (no server needed)

Hi HN, Codex and Claude are pretty good at (re)searching things on the web these days, but the open coding agents (OpenCode, pi coding agent and friends) don't have access to the labs' proprietary search APIs. I wasn't happy with this state of affairs, and wanted a truly open source version that was portable and harness independent. I'd previously implemented agentic web search using SearxNG for treechat.com with good results, so that was my first choice. The problem is that SearxNG expects to r

Show HN: Orbit – AR satellite tracker, watch 15k+ objects

Hey HN! I made Orbit, an iOS app that allows you to see the satellites, planets, and constellations above you in AR, on a 2D map, and on a 3D globe. The app includes more than 15,000 objects tracked by CelesTrack, together with their pass predictions, descriptions, and detailed orbital data. A searchable catalog of all objects is also available, as well as a built-in chatbot designed to answer any space-related questions you might have. This is my first published iOS app, so any feedback is grea
