I feel like everyone in SF is doing agentic b2b saas. For ai consumer founders-whats been your experience building? I have some hypothesis 1) almost all consumers dont accept ai(80%+) therefore market is small 2) investors dont believe it so no founders do it 3) consumers are used to free apps and LLM costs creates a cost floor which is unsustainable If I had to guess its most likely reason 3 Comments URL: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=48853063 Points: 2 # Comments: 1
Hey HN! I have turned Ilya’s 30 papers into AI audio overviews (and videos). Each paper gets explained chapter by chapter. I think this is a good starting point to get an overview before reading the full original PDFs. I recently added the multi-speaker podcast style explanations like in NotebookLM. If anybody has a good suggestion for a new format, let me know :) Comments URL: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=48853028 Points: 3 # Comments: 0
Lyzr, a startup that builds AI agents for enterprises, used its own AI agent to raise a $100 million round — proof, evidently, that the product actually works.

OpenAI is sunsetting its AI-powered browser after less than a year. But it's moving some agentic browsing features to its desktop app and a Chrome extension.

Should Anthropic trust Elon Musk to host its models? With about $40 billion in revenue at stake, Musk insists that the company can.
The AI ROI debate has returned and the numbers are even bigger, as are, perhaps, the consequences.

We're excited to introduce LiteRT.js, the newest member of the LiteRT family! LiteRT.js is our powerful solution for running machine learning models directly in the browser, extending Google's cross-platform edge AI runtime to the web. Built for JavaScript developers, LiteRT.js delivers state-of-the-art ML model inference performance on WebGPU and upcoming WebNN, with a fallback to WebAssembly for CPU. This post provides a quick tour of LiteRT.js and gives web developers everything they need to
I just clicked the "Update" button in the Mac Codex app, and the app quit and deleted itself. So.. is anyone using this thing? is it only me? I cant seem to find a lot of stuff anywhere, but this was a bit hyped a while ago. I've been using it and I feel like it really slowed things down for me this last month, I mena, I have been using it all day today and got $0.02 cents, normaly I feel like I would get $0.50 or sum Comments URL: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=48852177 Points: 1 # Comments: 0

Inevitably when starting a new web project I want to pick the perfect font. This is just a browser that shows Google Fonts, randomly, and lets me tag favorites. Share one API key across five AI agents, and a single compromised agent inherits the reach of all five. The attacker immediately benefits from the accumulated permissions of every workflow that the key touches. The forensic trail goes cold at the credential level because five agents on one account leave no record of which agent did what. Sixty-nine percent of enterprises run agents with credential sharing somewhere in their deployments, according to VentureBeat’s June 2026 Pulse Research wave of

OpenAI moved GPT-5.6 to general availability on July 9, 2026, shipping three tiers instead of one model. Sol is $5/$30 per 1M tokens, Terra is $2.50/$15, and Luna is $1/$6. Sol sets the Artificial Analysis Coding Agent Index at 80, 2.8 points above Claude Fable 5, and reaches 62.6% on OSWorld 2.0 using 85% fewer output tokens than Opus 4.8. The substantive developer change is Programmatic Tool Calling, which runs model-written JavaScript in an isolated V8 runtime to orchestrate tools without ret
<p>Yesterday, during a class on advanced machine learning models, my professor said something that stuck with me.</p> <p><em>"The skill level of young developers is declining year after year."</em></p> <p>Not because they're less intelligent. Not because the curriculum is worse. But because they no longer take the time to think things through by themselves before handing their tasks off to AI.</p> <p>He added something even more concrete: <strong>he sees this decline firsthand in the new interns
<p>Most on-chain swap flows still ask you to think like a router: pick a pool, choose a route, set a slippage number, and hope a bot does not sandwich you on the way in. <a href="https://ophis.fi/" rel="noopener noreferrer">Ophis</a> replaces all of that with one line of intent, <code>swap 100 USDC for ETH on Base</code>. The twist for developers: that same line is callable by software, so an AI agent can trade the exact same way you do.</p> <p>I build products for a living, and I built Ophis to

<p>A loop that refactors code until a check passes is a few lines of shell. Most guardrails beside such a loop only watch what an agent already wrote; the one worth building refuses a bad edit before it lands, and that is what this piece constructs.</p> <p>The rule it enforces: production code under <code>src/</code> must not import a mock library. That rule can live in two places. Put it in the prompt, <code>do not import mock</code>, and it is clear and still only a request: text loaded into a
